Taste of Times Square will take place on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on the Broadway Plazas between 43rd and 48th Streets.

Yes, the event will go on rain or shine unless there is a national weather emergency.

There is no entry fee for Taste of Times Square. However, you will need to purchase an event wristband to be able to buy food within the event.

All you need to bring is yourself and your preferred credit or debit card of choice! Participants will begin the Taste of Times Square journey by receiving a wristband at one of the sites on the plazas. This wristband will link to the card of your choosing through one of two ways – either at one of our activation kiosks on site or through tapping and registering directly on your smartphone. The wristband will secure to your wrist and you will be able to use it to purchase “tastes” at the participating restaurants on the plazas.

You can also get a 20% discount by buying a wristband in advance! Advance wristbands are sold for $25 and $50 only ($20 and $40 with the discount). Wristbands purchased in advance will not be charged the $1 onsite activation fee; however, if you choose to link a debit or credit card to your wristband on site during the event to add additional funds, you will be subject to the $1 onsite activation fee. All transactions on site will take place through the wristbands. If you do not have a credit or debit card, we will have a limited ability to accommodate cash-to-wristband registrations. Please note this registration will take place via specific windows at the TKTS Booth and may have longer wait times than our other registration options.

All “tastes” will be under $10.

Times Square is a busy place. We recommend taking public transportation. The following subway lines stop in and around Times Square: 
42nd Street, Port Authority (8th Avenue): A, C, E
50th Street (8th Avenue): C, E
42nd Street, Times Square (Connects to 42nd Street, Port Authority): N, Q, R, 1, 2, 3, 7, S
50th Street (Broadway): 1, 2, 3
49th Street (7th Avenue): N, Q, R

If you may need extra help or guidance navigating the event, the Times Square Alliance will have a tent on the north end of Broadway and 44th Street. Staff will be present to provide more information and help pair your wristband with a credit or debit card without having to wait in line.

Outdoor seating will be available throughout the event along the Broadway Plazas between 43rd and 48th Street.
