Feeling overwhelmed by ticket options for Broadway shows? It’s easy for theatergoers to get the best seats at the best prices from official sources. Great seats are available at every price point, from premium tickets to student rush tickets, and are easy to buy online, by phone, or in person at theater box offices.

IN PERSON

If you’re in Times Square, one of the most secure and dependable ways to get Broadway tickets is right from the theater’s box office. You’ll avoid high broker markups and service charges and can be sure you’re buying tickets from the official source. Most theaters are just steps from Times Square, making this both a convenient and cost-effective method.

RUSH, LOTTERIES, AND STANDING ROOM ONLY

Many shows offer discounted tickets in several different ways. Rush tickets are available on the day of the performance, either digitally or when the box office opens. Digital and in-person lotteries ask you to submit your information in advance and will notify you if you are chosen. For both rush and lotteries, seat locations are determined at the discretion of the box office. Standing room only tickets are available at the box office on the day of the performance, only when the show is sold out.

Playbill collects Rush, Lottery, and Standing Room Only policies for shows on Broadway.
