A special concert was held with Laurie Anderson for her Midnight Moment, Heart of a Dog on Monday, January 4, 2016, at 11:30 pm. In honor of the 9/11 first responder dogs to whom her film is partly dedicated, this unique performance by Laurie Anderson was transmitted to "silent disco" headphones for humans and low-decibel speakers for dogs. The event began at 11:30pm to midnight to accompany the video playing on the electronic billboards from 11:57 pm to midnight.Laurie Anderson adapted her feature film, Heart of a Dog, which has been short-listed for an Academy Award, for Times Square. This unique edition of the film was shown on Times Square’s electronic billboards from 11:57 pm to midnight from January 1-31, 2016.
