Accessibility Resources

A large group of people gathered in a city square.

Times Square is open and accessible to all.

For more details on accessibility throughout the Times Square neighborhood, the ways that the Times Square Alliance keeps our public spaces, plazas, and events accessible to all, and for questions about making your trip accessible, please contact:

General Tips

  • Our curb-cut sidewalks are wheelchair-friendly, particularly the Broadway plazas!
  • Times Square is a popular destination, particularly during the summer and the month of December. However, if you would like to come at a quieter time, it is typically less crowded in the early morning and the late night.
    • Per our pedestrian count data, the busiest pedestrian hours are typically 12pm – 2pm and 4pm – 7pm. The quietest hours are 1am – 6am and 10am – 11am during the workweek.
