TSQ LIVE Summer Friday: 2BYG

TSQ LIVE is turning up the heat with the Summer Friday concert series in Times Square this season. From pop-up shows with top charting artists, to the trendiest up-and-coming artists hitting the airwaves, this series aims to showcase a wide range of talent across all genres with a strong focus on showcasing independent artists of the New York City music scene. Musicians from New York City and beyond will present free concerts, many of whom will be celebrating the debut of new songs or an upcoming summer album release.

2BYG combines four talents, minds, and hearts into one bold, bright, and blockbuster version of what R&B can be in 2025. The group have already begun to blow up out of Dallas, TX on their own terms. Matt Brown, Nixx, and Tourèinitially met at performing arts high school, bonding over “the classics” and a shared passion for performing and singing. They later welcomed KD after catching him at a local talent show. Joining forces, they lit up social media with knockout covers of H.E.R., New Edition, Mint Condition, and more. Blown away, Waystar Records/Def Jam Recordings signed 2BYG. They hit the studio and cultivated a slick signature style, merging R&B, soul, hip-hop, pop, and gospel.
