MTA MUSIC (Music Under New York) is one of the visual and performing arts programs presented by MTA Arts & Design to enhance the transit system for riders. More than 350 individuals and ensembles present over 12,000 MTA MUSIC performances annually, featuring a wide range of instruments such as the Gambian kora, Korean drum, West Indian steel drums, Andean pipes, Cajun cello, Celtic and Baroque harps, guitars, violins, hammered dulcimers, and musical saws, and encompassing classical strings, jazz ensembles, world music bands, folk, a cappella groups, singer-songwriters, and more.

YOU BRED RAPTORS? is an orchestral post-rock ensemble with the Music Under New York Program.
Made up of Peat Rains on 8-string bass and Tara Hanish on cello, and featuring Danny Sher on glockenspiels and drums, the band provides scoring work for independent film and television and has toured over 80 cities and 5 countries. They have an array of endorsements ranging from custom instruments and strings to pedal companies and clothing lines.
The band has held residencies across the NYC boroughs, and has sold out the Gramercy Theater, Bowery Ballroom, and Music Hall of Williamsburg, and they have spoken and performed at an official TED Talk.
Your wishes will be added to the confetti that flutters down in the heart of Times Square on New Year's Eve! Each year, people from around the planet include their wishes for the new year on pieces of official Times Square New Year's Eve confetti, either digitally or in person.
