More than 350 individuals and ensembles present over 12,000 MTA MUSIC performances annually, featuring a wide range of instruments such as the Gambian kora, Korean drum, West Indian steel drums, Andean pipes, Cajun cello, Celtic and Baroque harps, guitars, violins, hammered dulcimers, and musical saws, and encompassing classical strings, jazz ensembles, world music bands, folk, a cappella groups, singer-songwriters, and more.

Performing on July 23: Too Many Zooz

Self-described "Brass House" trio Too Many Zooz make manically kinetic instrumental music that combines avant-garde jazz, EDM, punk rock, and sundry other traditions into their own distinctive brand of high-energy dance music. A viral sensation since they first emerged as New York subway buskers in 2013, Too Many Zooz have evolved into a globally recognized phenomenon who tour often and continue to produce videos.
